Myer, John Randolph

biography

John Randolph Myer is an author, architect and assistant professor of architecture from 1959 to 1966 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His Arrowstreet architectural firm is responsible for the Marlboro College Music Shed and Library, the international award-winning Boston Architectural Center, the Cambridge Friends School, the Hampshire College dormitories, the Harvard Square Garage and the Massachusetts State Archives building, among other projects. While in Florence, he studied the city with urban planner Kevin Lynch.
